The truth is I am not a very good at thinking about it. I do not often have the luxury of getting up and going to breakfast. I do not often have the luxury of going to the gym. I do not often have the luxury of sitting around a table with friends and having a conversation. I do not often have the luxury of going to a business meeting or being with friends. I do not often have the luxury of sitting in a hotel room with a friend.
The sad fact of the matter is that I am not a very good at all of these things, and I’m always on the verge of falling apart at the seams. I’ve talked to a few people about it but it’s extremely hard for me to say “I’m going to try and get to bed.” Because I don’t have the luxury of going to bed. I have no money, no health, no social network, and no friends.
I understand this is true of most people. When you have limited options, it can be difficult to build a good group of friends. Sometimes you need to make friends quickly. But you don’t have the luxury of going to a business meeting or being with friends. You have no money, no social network, no health, and no friends.
Im not saying that you should stay at home. But you CAN start building a business that does not require a bunch of social connections to succeed, and then you can meet people that can help you with those social connections. For example, I can meet you in person, and we can start making money together. I can even come to a social networking networking event and we can meet a bunch of people there.
I think the most important point to make here is that your social network is just as important as your money. Having a Facebook account is one thing, but having a social network is an entirely different thing. There is a lot of value in being in a group that you can talk to, that you can be a part of. There is a value in having a close friend that you can tell everything to. There is a value in having a well-known person that you can share ideas with.
The value of having a social network is that it allows you to make connections with people that you wouldn’t otherwise be able to with your money alone. It allows you to ask “friend” questions, for example, and have those friends be able to answer your questions for you. It allows you to have that friend be able to answer your questions for you, or ask your question to someone who can answer it for you.
Having a social network allows for some things that you wouldn’t be able to do with money, like asking how much someone is making, which would be illegal. Although I’m not sure what you would have to do to not be able to ask for what you want, it is still a valid question.
