For years now I’ve been training with high altitude martial arts (HMA) instructors. I have to say that I’ve never really understood what they do, but I have a pretty good idea of what they do.
This is in reference to the way Ive seen HMA instructors at my local gym work. When people are doing it right, they do a lot of things that are very simple, but if you dont follow their directions, they make it very complicated. It’s probably best to just stay away from them.
HMA is high-altitude martial arts, which is basically like karate, but performed on a high-altitude platform. They perform their movements over the course of days and weeks, with training sessions taking the place of the actual physical martial arts. The idea is that it’s possible to train with more precision, accuracy, and speed with this style of training than with traditional karate or taekwondo.
Its basically like playing a sport, but you train in zero-gravity. They have to wear special clothing to do these movements. Training in HMA is like training in a high-end workout studio, but without the constant overhead.
HMA is a form of “aerial” karate. It’s basically a form of karate in which you’re actually standing up and moving around in a controlled, but very high-speed motion. It’s essentially a sport that you can do in your underwear. So your clothes don’t cover you while you’re doing it, but you can move like you’re on a trampoline.
The best part about HMA is that you can do it anywhere, indoors, outdoors, on your back, and even upside down. Unlike other forms of karate, a person can do HMA without fear of injury for the rest of his or her life. The only thing you need to do is learn the steps and be really patient while you do it.
It’s basically like trying to kick a soccer ball high up in the air. You can do it in a pair of skates, a pair of roller skates, or a pair of sneakers. But the best part is that you can do it in any environment, indoors, outdoors, outdoors, or indoors again.
HMA is basically a way to practice different forms of martial arts in one’s mind, without actually having to actually practice any of them. It’s an advanced form of meditation, and it allows for the ability to focus on one specific thing or activity for the rest of your life. It comes in handy for people who want to go to a class, or for people who want to learn all the different things they can do in one’s mind.
This seems like the kind of thing that could be used for training purposes. After all, you can always go out and kick some ass.
