I am a huge fan of fur. I love that it is a renewable resource that can be made at a home scale or by a single person for a small fee. It is also an eco-friendly, non-toxic product that is available for a wide range of applications and uses. It’s one of the easiest, most versatile, and cost-effective options for those looking to create and customize a furry companion or friend.
It’s a bit of a different story for most of the furry community. There are many, many different types of fur to choose from, ranging from sheep/sheepskin, raccoon/raccoon, and fox/fox skin all the way to bear/bear skin. All of which are very different in their use and cost. But I have been very impressed with how fur can be used for a wide variety of crafts, from clothing and accessories to books and furniture.
For a long time I’ve been thinking the furry community could use some more creativity. I am not aware of many furry shops or designers that actually let you choose fur types and skins from a simple list, but I’m sure there are a few. I’m also not aware of any fur-based companies that make and sell clothing, nor am I aware of any shops that sell toys or other items made from fur.
In the real world, I think it would be a major improvement if fur was not used as an excuse for all sorts of crap. We don’t have enough people in the creative professions to justify using fur as a creative excuse all the time. It’s not like it’s a cool fashion accessory, or a cool piece of furniture, or a cool piece of art. It’s a big pile of stuff that doesn’t use fur.
The answer to that question is actually really simple. Its not using fur as an excuse for crap. Its not using fur as an excuse for anything. It’s the fact that fur is used for all sorts of crap that makes it so. If you have fur for fur’s sake, then you are automatically in the right camp to have fur for that reason. If you do not, you are probably just not in the right camp to have fur.
I have a friend who gets very angry about this. He’s got a lot of stuff in his home, and he feels he should be allowed to use fur to decorate it. He feels that all the wood in his house is “used” fur, and that he should be allowed to use it, even though the fur he is using isnt and never was used for anything.
That’s the thing about fur. There is absolutely no reason to be afraid of it. No one wants to be a freak about it. It’s just something people do because they are fascinated by something. People do it because they are fascinated by the texture of fur. It’s an extension of our own unique sense of taste. And when you have that, you don’t need to be afraid of it.
This is the second time in a couple of months that I’ve mentioned the word “furry” in this article. It’s not something that people just do out of love, nor is it something that has to be protected from, but I’ve definitely gotten a few e-mails from readers who have told me that they have pets that are afraid of it.
Yes, furry animal-human hybrids are a thing. Like many of our fellow animals, they are highly social and prefer to hang out with their own kind. In many instances they are quite fearful of humans, and are generally not comfortable with people. And as we have discovered through experience, some of those fears are self-sustaining. You see, it’s not just about finding a way to interact with your pets in a way that they feel comfortable with.
One of the most common ways for a pet to feel at ease is by being friendly with others. As humans, we are not, as a general rule, very social with other humans. What we all need to learn is that we need to be more social with each other. The way to do that is to learn to be more social with animals.
