It is never late to start a yarn project because they always turn out to be one of the best and most interesting projects ever. I have learned so much working on these y. It’s easy to get caught up in the process of the project itself and forget to be fully present in the moment. When you are fully present with yourself, you find yourself going deeper into your craft and creating something that is just as good as the first time you made it.
I have begun working on a yarn project for a number of reasons that are completely unrelated to what I do for a living. I’m currently developing a series of “work shorts” for a new yarn company called y crafts, and my primary motivation is to continue building what I believe is the best yarn company out there.
I have a few friends who knit and crochet. I’m not sure that’s a bad thing. I like to experiment with new materials and techniques, and I’m learning to do it from the ground up.
As you can imagine, I have a number of yarn projects in the works. One of the things that I’ve been working on for a while is a series of work shorts, in which I show some of the techniques and skills I’ve acquired through my journey into yarn crafting.
One of the things I always hear about yarn crafting, is that yarn is inherently unstable. It floats and twirls around in tiny little balls, then slowly transforms into a yarn. But this is definitely not the case. The more you get into the process, the more you realize that yarn is a lot more solid than you might have thought. It’s certainly not watery or wet. It’s not squishy at all. It’s very solid.
I actually started creating with a darning needle in my knitting needles. I actually knitted a scarf using a darning needle instead of knitting it with a circular needle. The yarn I used was 100% cotton. It was so much more stable that I didn’t have to worry about the yarn breaking.
In fact, I now sew a lot of my clothing using a machine. It is definitely a more solid method, but the same solid thing is there.
I’ve started knitting with needles with different materials. The first time I used the needle that I got from the store, it was so stiff that I had to use the needle’s tip to stitch a button on my button up dress shirt. I really like that the needle I use is the one that I got. I have also tried using a sewing needle which is very different.
It’s difficult to explain because the art of sewing is so different from knitting. In fact, many of the stitches on a garment are not the same as the stitches on a knitting pattern. But even if you’re not familiar with the art, it’s not hard to figure out which stitches you would like to use in a particular project.
I love the idea of sewing, especially with buttons, to make something that looks new and different. Also, I love the idea of using the needle I got because I like the way it looks. Thats why I got it.
