While it may not seem like it, war is a great thing for business. Sure, it may cost the lives of thousands, but it has a lot of upside as well.
War is great for business because it is a big cost and big rewards for the winner. People who get killed in war don’t need to worry about getting killed by a rival. They still have the same company with the same products, and all that matters is to get back to work.

What does this have to do with anything? Of course, the War on Terror has made the corporate world much more dangerous since 9/11. But the War on Terror has also enabled us to have fewer people fighting, because they’re now at the mercy of their governments. Corporations have become even more powerful and have a lot of political influence. It is no longer the case that they can just kill off their competition.
What happens when a company goes to war with another company? Well, that company becomes a huge target for their government. They get caught in the crossfire of terrorism and civil wars. They might even get shot. But the question is, how are they going to get out? It’s because theyre no longer able to control their government.
As corporate power grows and gets more and more powerful, governments and corporations have an increasingly higher incentive to make war. They might kill or jail or even burn you. But they also get more and more powerful. They have more and more resources to use to crush their rivals. And as the corporations become more and more powerful, their governments become even more powerful.
War is good for business. Business can use war to its benefit. When corporations have more resources, they will more easily hire more people to do the same work to the same degree. And so they can use war as a way to grow their companies and make more money.
Most of our conversations are in the corporate sphere. Most of our time is spent at business. A good reason to be a business person is to be productive. When you are in the corporate sphere, it’s a great way to get people to work hard, to get customers to buy your product or service, to meet your goals. I’d go back to that time in business, but that’s just not possible with technology.
War is business. Business is just business. Its not only that you make more money in a war, but also that you are more productive.
Not all wars are good for business. I know that in Vietnam the war had a huge effect on the Vietnamese economy. The war also caused a surge in population, which in turn caused an increase in productivity. This trend has continued since Vietnam fell under the communist regime, when productivity went from being an average of 1,000 to 2,000 hours a year to over 1,000.
