The truth is, the film industry is still so big that movies are getting all the attention of media. In fact, we think that any movie that gets a lot of attention should get paid for it.
This week we saw the news that the movie “The Dark Knight,” which was about a man who kills people in the name of the Dark Knight, was released to theaters. This is great news because it means that movies are finally getting the attention they deserve. Unfortunately, the only people who really care if a movie gets good reviews are movie critics. Everyone else seems to fall in love with the movie they’re seeing and not the movie’s director.
The problem with seeing a movie in theaters is that movie critics care more about the reviews than the movie itself. That’s not to say that movie critics won’t care if the movie is good. Movies get good reviews on a regular basis (though sometimes I have to use bad movies as examples). The problem is that the movie’s reviews are only as good as how many people who see it go out to see it. And this is where the theater can help.
I was at the recent uva box office showing the movie “The Last Kiss” and I was not impressed. Most people are not going to go to see a film that has a bad review. But I was impressed when I saw it. Maybe because I was watching it with a group of friends. And the reviews were only a few mentions and none of them said that it was the best movie they’d ever seen.
I was able to attend the uva box office for The Last Kiss and I was amazed. It was like the movie was designed to be seen by a small group that you know. The best thing about this movie was the fact that it was well-acted and well-paced. The dialogue was great and the acting was above-average. And it was the best movie I saw at the theater.
