While many in sweden have a business culture where all of their employees are expected to get together with their colleagues to talk about all their ideas, these meetings tend to be organized around the idea of the customer. If you have a problem that someone else has developed, you might approach the customer and ask for their help.
While I’m not totally convinced that coffee shops should be the only place where you run into people, I do think these meetings should serve as an outlet for people to get together and talk to each other. I think a cafe-like setting would be great for this process. If you’re really at odds with someone, you could come to a cafe and just talk, or if you’re in a good mood, have a coffee and catch up.
You could come to a cafe and just talk. But I think the real opportunity here is if you can get your point across and get someone to listen. To not only get the customer’s attention, but to get them to notice what you’re trying to say, is important.
It is also important to make sure you don’t have the wrong message. You don’t want to come into a cafe and start talking about how you don’t have money. I think that’s a good idea, but I also think that you should say something about how people should think about this issue. I’d love to hear what you think.
