The covid pandemic has made everyone operate their tasks from home. But for students, it has been a tough task. As long as students have a routine to study from the college or library, it has been difficult for them to study from home.
Everyone knows that studying from home is quite difficult and not easy to focus on. But here are the tips to follow when you are studying from home.
1.Be an early bird
Students, be an early bird! Start getting up early and get your things done. By waking up early you have a fresh and clear mind which helps to remember your notes and study.
The research shows, if you wake up early then you have more hours in a day to fulfill and finish all your tasks. You have more time in a day. So that you will end up studying more efficiently.
2. Make a routine
Making a routine is a universal suggestion for everyone, not only for students. A healthy routine makes everything easier.
The night before the day starts, take a note and make a to-do list for the next day. Do this every day. Make an everyday routine. Not just make but shape your routine.
Ok, now you might wonder and question what to add to your daily routine being a student.
Here we have some ideas to add to your routine:
- Start your day with meditation or some yoga and exercise.
- Drink healthy juice for breakfast.
- Divide the timings into your different subjects. For example, divide your tasks such as reading, completing your homework, finishing the custom essay, and the rest of the projects.
- Take 15 mins break when you switch subjects.
- In your study routine, add some time for revision.
- Most importantly, attend your classes on time.
There is more routine that you can add to your list. But that depends on your studies, projects, and tasks, too. That you can manage and make accordingly.
3. Keep a timer
There is a technique called POMODORO. This helps to save your time and you can get your things done, too. This technique follows 25 minutes methods by following 5 minutes break. Train yourself to absorb this method.
First of all, you keep a timer when you start studying.
Now, let’s talk about POMODORO.
- Start the timer.
- Study for 25 minutes.
- Then take a 5-minute break.
- Do this 4 times. Complete 4 POMODOROs of 25 minutes.
- And then take a long 15-30 minutes break.
With the help of keeping a timer and the Pomodoro technique, you will be able to study more efficiently.
4.Cut off the social media till the exams are on
As long as you spend most of your time on social media. You won’t be able to focus on your studies.
Once you are on social media, always on social media. That is totally a time waste when you have exams. You can cut off them by uninstalling the social media apps or you can switch off your device.
That will help you in cutting off social media and will make the less screen time, too. That will work in both the ways.
5.Make the surrounding better
When you sit for studies, make sure you have a clean and neat workspace. A place where you can keep your laptop and books.
One more thing you can consider is you should study on a table and chair rather than studying while laying on a bed or sofa.
Because the environment and surroundings also matter and that gives positive vibes.
6.Early to bed
As they say early to bed, early to rise. So as you will make a routine to sleep early, you will be getting up early the next morning.
And once you start waking up early, you will automatically crash early to bed.
So the above tips can be considered a cycle of tips. As it starts early to rise and ends early to bed.
