I’ve been a part of the santa fe arts district since I was eight and have been coming here since I was a little kid. I am a huge fan of the arts, and the local arts and crafts store here is a treasure. It is not a large arts and crafts store and I think it was because of the size that it started to overcharge. My dad had to keep a big bag of things to sell and it was just too big for a kid.
Since my dad’s a very busy man, he was more than willing to drive to santa fe to shop for me and his best friend, but I always get a good laugh when I see them. They are both very proud of the art they make and the great quality of the materials they use. In fact, I’ve even made a little website for them that I can easily share with people.
I have to say that I was pretty impressed by the quality of the art displayed. The colors and textures are beautiful, and the lighting is so realistic that you are actually looking right at it and not at a computer screen. The art is very artistic and detailed, but I think it works really well on the page and the site.
The art they made is amazing. Not only are the materials very beautiful and sturdy, but the colors and textures are amazing. We have a lot of artist friends that have their own websites and we have a lot of art for sale. Some of the more popular artists that we have art for sale are: Jeff Koons, Richard Prince, James Turrell, Andy Warhol, and Robert Mapplethorpe.
Jeff Koons is one of my favorites. I had a lot of fun with his work. I don’t know if you saw the video we put out on the blog, but when he did a video series in which he made sculptures “living” (without any living beings), I bought some of the pieces that he made.
I have to say I’m a bit annoyed by santa fe because the way they keep their spaces, the artists who live there, and even what they have to say in their art have been so vague and sketchy that I don’t trust they are always going to do any good. When I do a purchase, I want to know where I’m getting my art from.
I understand that artists like santa fe are trying to live without people, but when I looked at the art on the video I did, it seemed as though it was from a private collection. The pieces are made from the things that are already there, and are often very detailed. If an artist only has a piece of art that they can’t have access to, that’s a problem.
santa fe’s art district is a really cool idea. But I wonder if they are just being nice to us because they don’t want us to get in trouble. Maybe the reason we can’t get in trouble is because they want us to buy art from them.
