I am a long time performer and student of church music. I have performed several times at the sacramento performing arts center and have taken several classes with the director. I am happy to say that I think he has a lot of fun bringing in new and different music as the seasons change. The sound system is fantastic and the venue is beautiful.
The best part is when we bring in the new music our director plays, which is typically a slow, slow, slow song. Some of the new music is great, but some is downright evil.
It should be noted that the sacramento performing arts center is not the only place that is currently performing in their new music! The music also plays at the church I attend and at the church I’ve been attending since the age of 3.
It’s been a while since I’ve been to sacramento’s new music, but that is one of my favorite musical places to visit. It’s a small, yet cozy, church with loads of character and it’s the place I always end up going for music. The music is generally slow, and then you get to hear a cool new song, a new song that makes you want to dance to it. The church has a nice setting, but it has a lot of character.

The sacramento performing arts center is not just a church. I think the church serves a function and it is nice setting, but the actual church is great. I want to see it and see its beauty and hear it. I want to see the real place it is; its the real place where I go.

Just a year ago, the church was built by a community of Latinos, an African-American, and a Chinese who wanted to use it to show off their cultures and celebrate their faith. Today, there is a Spanish-speaking Baptist congregation (and a Hispanic Baptist congregation), all built out of the same materials and with the same goals of using the space to show their faith and their culture.
I am so intrigued by this place, and I hope that there will be more stories like this one.
