We all know that business is going to be risky, whether we realize it or not. In order to help others avoid this risk I’ve created a poster of the risks that business owners face. If you think your business is at least a little risky, give it a look and let me know what you think. So far I’ve done one design for my business and one for my friends company.
This is a poster that I made for a class I took at Wharton where it was supposed to help us strategize on how to do risky business. It was actually a good idea and I might have taken something different if I hadn’t been so forgetful. But I didn’t really care. Instead, I thought of it as a critique of the argument that financial risk management is the only way to get rich by being an entrepreneur. And since you’re going to be doing all these businesses and thinking about getting rich, we need to take the time to understand what you’re really interested in.
Risky Business – Risky business is an interactive web application that allows you to give a one-to-one quote on the products you are looking to purchase or find in your local store. It does this by asking questions like, “Tell me about your type of business.” and “How do you make money?” The answers you supply will then be used to calculate the cost of the selected product or service. This helps control your risk profile by limiting the number of times you can be asked what type of business it is.
