My friends and I were recently at a wedding here in Philadelphia and the parking in front of the pnc banks arts center was extremely tight. To make matters worse, the wedding party had arrived with their own cars, so the parking was also extremely tight. We were trying to figure out how to get into the parking lot and how to get out of it when we noticed this oddity. There were no handicap placards and no lines for parking.
Apparently the pnc has one of the most generous parking programs in the entire city, with no lines for handicapped and no lines for cars with handicaps. It’s kind of like having a Starbucks without the bathrooms, but it’s certainly better than the endless lines we’ve had to endure in other locations when we wanted to get away from the wedding party.
Well if you want to park your car in the pnc, it is the only place we’ve seen that allows handicapped parking.
