In the January 1st 2011, just after the economic crisis, one of the most ambitious business plans of the Economic Recovery Administration (ARENA) was to introduce a new innovative way of looking at and measuring business performance. Under the Interim Business Plan (IBP) for Women’s Reserve Bank of India (IBRU), its board of director decided to look at the impact of women’s participation in business. Its aim was to create a greater sense that women were important in business, an important part of it should be done by women, and that women should make decisions rather than men. By improving this awareness, they also wanted to increase business opportunities for women and encourage them to share their skills and knowledge with other women in businesses.
