We have all heard about the saying, “Mind your own business,” but for some reason, this concept is still being used to describe something so important, yet so simple. Mind your business or else, you’ll find yourself on the receiving end of a lawsuit.
As you know, I’m more of a psychologist than a tech guy, and I write a lot of articles about technology. I’m the last person to have said this, but I’m still not a tech guy.
How do we know if our business is the right one for us? Well, the answer is the same: I think it’s a good thing we know if it’s the right one for us, because if it’s the right one, it’s easy to create a smart business and then create a smart strategy. But the most valuable thing about marketing is the number of people that pay attention. It’s not like it’s a marketing strategy. It’s about paying attention.
In a world full of marketers, I don’t think it’s a bad thing if you have a business plan. I mean, that’s what we all are doing anyways. But you don’t get it until you start acting as if you know enough to create a business and a strategy. I mean, I could probably create a business that does this, but I don’t know enough to create a marketing strategy.
I do know enough and I know my market and what they want. No one else does.
I think that what we do as marketers is to sell ourselves. I mean, its not a bad thing, but its like when you say you have a cool new car or you have a cool new car, you might want to talk to your neighbors about it, but that isn’t what I want to sell. It’s more like when you walk up to someone you dont know and you ask them, “Hey, I built this cool new home and I want your opinion about it.
The goal of marketing is to make your marketing strategy work. You don’t really need to worry about the numbers or the people. You just need to be able to make it work, and be able to put yourself in order, and be able to get your audience to do what you want. It’s almost like when you think you need to sell to your audience, but you don’t really know where you stand until you sell.
That’s what “mind yo business” means. It’s the idea that you’re not in control. You can say that you know what you are doing, you know how to do it, but no one likes to be sold to. And if you’re trying to sell your house to someone, it’s a great thing to be able to say that you know what you are doing.
Mind yo business is when youre saying, “hey, my house is perfect for the price I paid.” That way your audience can feel like theyre part of something they want, theyre part of their own success. As long as they can say, “my house is perfect for this price,” then they are part of the success.
Now, this is a common tactic among salespeople. For example, a company can say, my house is perfect for this price, but if you can see this, then you can buy it. This is in a sense a misdirection tactic. We call it “selling the illusion that you know what you are doing.
