Martial arts is an art that involves the study of physical weapons and is practiced in order to accomplish a goal or to defend oneself, its practitioner, or others.
So, if you’re a martial artist and you’ve gotten a call from your local government that you need to serve a little time in jail, it’s probably because someone is trying to prove you’re an incompetent badass who needs to be taught a few new moves before they get you to think your way out of a corner.
So, in true ninja fashion, we thought to pull together some of our favorite martial arts pictures. I mean, sure, there’s no doubt that these are beautiful martial arts images, but they sure don’t do much for the soul of the martial artists themselves. The pictures are just a way for me to vent and show what I love about martial arts.
Now as a self-professed martial art instructor myself, I can tell you that I think these images are very nice, but they don’t have the same effect as a really good picture does. And that is a huge complaint I have about some of the martial arts I see these images in. They’re just really boring, but they’re still a great visual for a martial artist.
If you like these images, I recommend that you read the article “What I’ve Learned About Martial Arts.” Then go and have a look at the art and learn more about it.
The fact is, I like the imagery of martial arts more than the art itself. So I think it’s a bit silly that these images are in a magazine. That’s like saying that all the martial arts I know are in the book ‘The Tao of Kung Fu.’ Not really.

They could have been in the book, but they aren’t. The images in this new article are made up of mostly images of martial artists and some of their weapons. I think its a good visual for martial artists and martial artists who can look cool in a magazine, but I think its a bit silly that these images are in a magazine.
