I’m not a martial arts instructor, but I have a degree in karate. I’m currently working at a gym in San Diego, so the pay is pretty decent. I’m also currently working on my resume, which is why I don’t list the “teach” part on my profile. I get paid $14.75 an hour, which I can live on comfortably. And, I’m married, so that makes me happy.
The pay is pretty good, but I hate the idea of having a spouse earning as much as I do. Marriage (and kids) have a way of sucking up all the money you make, and the only way that I have been able to keep my income a consistent 10% is because of my husband.
People have a tendency to think about money in negative ways, but when you look at the numbers for a lot of the jobs that people choose, that is not always the case. The average American household income is around $49,000, so it isn’t a huge amount of money. However, if you look at the top professions (which include people who work in the armed services, government, academia, and media), the average salary for these people is $150,000.
As it turns out, the average salary of a martial arts instructor is around $50,000. These instructors have skills that could earn them much more than they actually make in one year, but for some reason, that doesn’t seem to bother many people. The reason is that the majority of these jobs are not full-time. They’re part-time jobs, many of them for less than half the time people do them.
The same holds true for the majority of jobs in the armed services and government.
For the most part, the average salary for these jobs is around 60,000 a year. And these numbers are not even close to the actual salaries people make. We have several people who earn much more than that and also have jobs that are full-time.
The salaries of most self-employed workers and the salaries of most full-time workers are the same. So why is this? If I am a full-time worker I can have much more money. And if I am self-employed I can have a much easier time of it. And if I am a part-time worker I can have a much harder time making money.
The answer to that is that we don’t know. All we know is that the majority of the people that work for us are self-employed or part-time workers who are paid a lot more than that. And while it’s true that the majority of people who have a part-time job make less than that, most of these are also self-employed or part-time workers.
It’s a little silly to even debate this point. It’s not like we’re talking about a small percentage of the population or even a small number of people. We are talking about millions of people. And a small number of these people are self-employed. These people are making a decent wage and doing what they do because they love martial arts. And all of these people have a passion for martial arts. They just don’t have a clue.
And that’s why when you’re talking about martial arts and how much it pays, you should be talking about the fact that it’s not just a hobby. It’s an avocation.
