I’ve got my own personal library business card. The one I hold in my hand, and use to go into the library, always has something useful or fun to pass along. I like it that way.
My library card is a public one, so anyone can see it. I like that because it’s public. But I also like it because it’s a business card. It’s more of a personal touch and one that I’m comfortable with.
Public library business cards are nothing new. But this new one allows you to give access to your own personal library. And this is a good thing. Imagine having access to your own personal library. This is a first for me. And it will be a new one for a few years. I’ll use it as a way to remember things and other people.

When I was growing up in the ’70s, if you wanted to get a library card, you had to have an address, and this is how we did it. Back then, to get a library card, you had to have a business address. I remember getting my library card when I graduated from high school, and I still have it. There are still libraries that actually require business addresses.
Nowadays with social media, it’s easy to get a business address if you want to keep your social media presence. Just google “business address” and you can find a million different places to get one. Of course, being a business person, I think that a business address is one of the best ways to keep in touch with people.
As a social media consultant, I’ve personally seen many business addresses being used for nefarious purposes (such as to hide your identity if you’re not a real person), but in this case I think it’s funny how a library business card is being used for a business purpose.
The Library of Congress is a federally-funded institution that provides free access to books. In the past, when libraries were closed for renovations or shut down due to financial problems, people would write librarians and ask them to help them out. Today this is all over the place as Ive seen people trying to use it for their own personal purposes. So, for those of you who want to make some cash, why not try using these business cards.
Business cards are a great way to get free books and other items into your store. These are the cards that you write on to, with the information about the book and item to be included on the card. There are tons of business cards out there, but the one I like to use is this one by Evernote. You can buy an Evernote business card for $12 and they will have you included on any of the Evernote business cards that are available.
Evernote sells business cards for 25 cents per card, but you can buy them for a buck. I love that Evernote is including you in the Evernote book, even though you don’t have a credit card so you can’t use the card for the store.
