After a lot of trial and error, I think I am one of the only friends who is able to knit a business card. I can’t say that about all of my friends, though. I still struggle with the business card business.
The other day I was knitting and was working on a business card. I had only just started the first stitch, and in the middle of the second one I realised I didn’t have any yarn left to finish the card. So I put the card aside and called a friend and asked her if she could pick it up. No problem. She walked up, handed me the card, and said, “You’ll never get it done.
This is one of the reasons that I love this site so much. I get to see so many people who are just like me. I’m a good knitter. I’m good at what I do. I don’t know why I didn’t get any business cards until I had done six of them. Now I do.
The reason I get to see so many people who are just like me is because I like them. When you get to know them you can’t be more than a little bit like me. You can’t be someone else, you can’t have such a good time. And I have been a bit of a knitter before, so I dont feel like I’ll get much out of it.
I think that knitting is good for us all. We all need a hobby, but it is good to know that we have someone to get to know and enjoy it with. That is a really good thing. And if the person you’re knitting with can actually knit and understand the pattern, then that is even better.
I really think a lot of us are into the hobby for the wrong reasons. I believe we all have a good reason for doing it. You dont have to be a knitter to enjoy a good hobby of knitting, and I dont think anyone can really complain about that. My personal reason for enjoying the hobby is to have something to do at the same time as I am doing something else. If that is not the case, I dont really know what my reason is.
I have to admit, I am a bit of a newbie, but I have knit before. I started out in a few different hobbies, but after a while, it just became too much. I have to admit, I love getting the feel of a design and seeing how it all comes together. The most enjoyable part is seeing it all come together in the finished product.

On a knitting-related note, I like to make small business cards, so I have them on my desk, and then I put them in these little bags so that they stay with me. This is a great way for me to remember the people who worked with me over the years and to have them in my life.
