I don’t think this is the first time we’ve heard a woman in the community have to face the consequences of a life on their own terms. In the end, she got what she wanted and she was happy. She has been through a lot and she’s made a few mistakes so far.
The reason I bring this up is because her reaction seems to be a case of someone trying to avoid the consequences of their life choices. It’s easy to look at her situation and think, “Well, she made a few mistakes so they shouldn’t be held against her. She knows what she’s doing, so they’re not going to bite her on the ass”. But that kind of thinking doesn’t seem to apply to the case of ibm business analyst.
