This summer I was asked to do a series of projects in a hacienda business park in the Los Angeles area to better understand the business side of a new construction home. I spent a week doing business in this new, open space and met with three very different types of people. The first two types of clients were a construction company and a real estate investor.
The construction company is the owner of the hacienda. The real estate investor is the owner of the hacienda and is looking for a buyer for the hacienda. Then there’s just me, doing business in the hacienda. The construction company is actually the owner of the hacienda. I’ve been really into the business of building and building home construction for years. I found that people really love to build homes. It’s not their fault that they bought the house, they love the feel and quality of construction projects.
