Yes, the game’s business is now on hold. So this week, the devs of the game released a new trailer to remind us just why it is awesome. In it, a group of Visionaries are running around the island, shooting at people (who are not in the game), and saying whatever they want. In addition to this, the rest of the island is now surrounded by a giant metal fence.
The devs are working on a new camera system that will allow us to see the camera with much better resolution than the existing systems. We would like to see a lot of these cameras and how they work, but this is a small project, and we know they need some time off. As we move forward, we need to change the way we use them to provide a better experience for our audience.
We’re also working on an in-game system that will allow us to turn off all lights and cameras, and move to a dark, silent island. This will allow us to make Deathloop as immersive as possible, and allow us to put it in the hands of the best developers in the world. Once the game is live, we’ll be looking for all the other developers out there who want to make a game like this.
