If you go to hartford academy of the arts, you will get taught in a large variety of ways, from music to dance, from art history to theatre. In my opinion, the greatest aspect of this school is the people…the teachers are wonderful. It is also the school where the director is actually a student of mine and a former student of mine. The teachers are very well organized, and I never have to worry about who is teaching where.
The school is also known for its large number of classes, which include some of the best teachers in the country. It is also a great school for students who are interested in theatre and other forms of performing arts.

The problem is that even if you do get a class, you might find classes you dont have a clue about or are looking for. A quick glance at the website reveals that there are three levels of music programs. The first is the Music Department. This is the most basic of the three, and I have a hard time seeing why it has to be so basic. In the Music Department, students can choose from a dozen or more classes in a variety of genres, styles, and subjects.
It looks to me like the music classes are at the third level of the Music Department. This is where you get to choose from thousands of different classes from which to choose. There are also tons of other classes and options in the program that aren’t listed here. The classes are in a variety of subjects, ranging from vocal to instrumental to choir to jazz.
