After the holidays, my favorite time of year is right around the time when I really start to feel like the holidays are over for me. I think both of these are great ideas. I know that if I ever have the occasion to make a big batch of syrup, I will make it just as much as I would if I went into the Christmas season during the summer. That being said, this is one of those occasions where I would probably skip making syrup at all, just to avoid the disappointment of not having any left for the holidays. I will definitely try making this syrup if I do get the chance.
I have to agree with you, and I also think that it is very important to make sure to keep your syrup. People get the wrong idea about syrup and cooking, but it does have certain benefits. Like, making syrup is one of my favorite things to do when I’m out in the woods. I always think of how wonderful it would be if I could make syrup with me during the winter when I’m out in the woods all day. It would be so tasty.
