I agree with the idea that the business of hotels is probably bad, but there are a couple of reasons why it happened and it was just a matter of time before it happened. The cost of hotel rooms is almost always one of the lowest in the world. But it is ridiculous that they can charge a ridiculous rate for a double bed. I don’t know about you but I find it disgusting that so many people are willing to pay for a bed that is not theirs to begin with. It is the type of thing that would be more common in another country.
I have a friend who is a manager at a business hotel. He says that the owner of the business hotel is on the take and he’s willing to pay 300 a night for a double bed that is only 10 a night cheaper than the price of the actual hotel. And so the owner of the business hotel can say, “Hey I want to make sure I get a double bed that is even cheaper than the hotel.
