I am happy to announce that the Museum of Art De Witt in the heart of Chicago’s Art District is now home to The Wallace Collection. Not only does the museum contain over 2,000 works by over 50 artists, the collection showcases the work of important art and design leaders from the past and present.
Wallace’s work is often associated with the Abstract Expressionism movement and is the subject of the museum’s most famous exhibition, the ‘Wallace in Paris.’ But the collection is in fact brimming with other art and design influences, including the work of artists such as Winslow Homer, David Hockney, Mary Cassatt, and Roy Lichtenstein.
Wallace’s work is interesting because it is an almost complete abstraction, and it’s often associated with the early 20th century. But it’s really a collection of modern art, so it’s full of stuff that’s from the past that’s been influenced by today’s art. I mean, it’s like the museum is a museum of the past, and the work is influenced by the past.
It’s like a museum of the future in a way. The art itself is abstract, but the museum is a museum of the past. The wall is a museum of the future.
Just as a lot of the art in a museum is abstract, much of the stuff that we see in a room is also abstract. But the art in a room isn’t abstract. It’s all of the same color and style, and the style is actually derived from the art in the room. When we look at this, we aren’t just looking at the art, we are also looking at the room.
The art in this museum is based on the art in the museum that inspired it. Thats why we have art in a museum. And thats why we have a museum.
The DeWitt Wallace museum has made it clear that the art in its collection should be all around us, and that it wants to show it in all its glory. It wants to show the art that inspired it, but it also wants to show the art that doesn’t really fit into the aesthetic of the museum. The museum is set within a large glass structure as well as the surrounding green landscape.
The museum is a very ambitious undertaking, as it features more than 400,000 square feet of exhibition space, which is about two and a half times the size of the typical art gallery. That’s a lot of beautiful art. And it is beautiful art. It is also, unfortunately, very expensive to maintain. And that, of course, is why you don’t see a lot of it on the market.
But I’m not complaining because the collection is a great addition to the downtown. The collection features a huge variety of art from the 19th century through the present day. The art is well curated and well cared for. I really enjoyed the art in the museum. It was interesting to see how the museum is slowly changing from being a historical museum to being a contemporary art museum. And I like the fact that the museum is a private collection that gets more and more exclusive about who can view it.
