I have been working with CRM for over ten years and I do not think I have ever seen anything like it. CRM is about more than just email; it is about knowing what your customers want, and then creating a strategy to achieve that.

It’s a great thing, but the business process will get too complicated for most businesses and not because there are so many people on the front lines, but because it’s too complicated for them or their business. So, if you can only do one thing, you have to do the other thing. You have to make your own decision. It’s your business process, and you have to make it simple for people to think and act on it.
I think the more successful a company is, the more people are going to ask for more and more information. It’s inevitable.
Its also inevitable that more and more regulations and oversight will be put in place. In the long run though, you are going to have to be successful so you have to be efficient and efficient.
