I don’t know if you have ever read this, but my dad is a car audio business owner. He has built and sold a number of businesses, so he knows the ins and outs of what to be sure to include in your business card. Here’s a list of the business card design trends that I’ve seen lately, along with a few suggestions for what works best for you.
Ive never seen car audio business cards quite like this, so I figured I would add it up. Its a fairly common trend, so I thought I would share it here.
Card design has obviously changed a lot since the 60’s. You can go back to the 80’s and 90’s and see cards that were generic and generic. In the 90’s and especially in the early 2000’s you had more custom designs (like the ones that my dad uses), and these custom designs were then often printed on cardstock or cardstock laminated on to a piece of cardboard.
Well it doesn’t look as if its all that different. Its one big “you” in a way. There are a few things that are different, but the overall look is pretty much the same. The biggest change is the way the cards are displayed. There is now a slider in the upper left that changes the height of the cards. The cards are now more rounded and have more space between them. They also have no margins.
Car audio business cards are a common way to advertise a business. When you are in car shops, you will often get a card with the logo of the shop and a list of prices. These cards are often used by the owners of stores to advertise their wares. The idea here is that you can promote your company by going to websites that have a few thousand active users, and then going to the ones you promote that have more than one million active users.
