This is one of my favorite lines to use. It goes something like: If your friend is new to the office, you are a genius. If your friend has been with the company for a while, you are awesome.
It’s true though, we may be a little bit above and beyond the average. One of the reasons we’re so successful is because we know how to pick up our clients. We take the time to get to know them through conversation, and we know how to do so in a way that’s respectful and professional. But we also know how to put them at ease and make them feel comfortable when they’re with us. We make them feel that they’re in the presence of a true professional.
Well, now that I have this conversation with you, I’m glad you are at the top of my list of people to talk to. You see, most people don’t realize they’re at the top of a list because they just don’t understand how to build a relationship with a business. So I’m here to help you. I want to be clear, this isn’t like a typical interview.
The way I look at it, a business is a person. I like that. I really do. Theyre an extension of who Im actually a person. So if a business is a person, then the people that work for them are people too. Theyre a reflection of the person that makes them.
While I can certainly relate to a person who is trying to build a relationship with a business, I dont think its fair to lump them into a category with the people who just come up with the ideas and the ideas are just left to fester until the person at the top decides to kill them. I’ll admit that that would be a pretty cool story, but there’s something that makes me think it would be a bit hokey.
I agree. I dont think it would be a bad thing to put the people that work for a business in the same category as the people who just come up with the ideas. Its like when you go to a party and everyone is like, “Oh, here’s a drink.” That is a person that is like, “Wow, this is pretty nice, but I wonder if anyone would want to get drinks for me.
It is a bit of a stretch, but it is actually fairly common to find a company that has a huge amount of resources and then lets them go into the background. In fact, this is particularly common in the business world. The reason for this is that companies tend to have a lot of resources and it can be hard to distinguish between their employees and other types of employees. A company that has a lot of resources is also seen as more likely to be efficient in their use of these resources.
It’s like the people who make the most money in the world are the most efficient.
Well the more resources you have, the more efficient are you. Most people wouldn’t have the luxury of having a big bank account.
It’s not simply that you can’t tell the difference between a company employee and a non-employee. That’s because companies are in the business of making money and the employees are just a means to a very end.
