Blog by Marica Nikos and Hannah Clark – The blog is about business fights poverty. By partnering with non-profits, Marica Nikos and Hannah Clark are using social media to empower people to see the solutions needed in places where poverty has been hard on them. They have created a platform for people to share their stories of success in order to encourage others to change their thinking about what it means to be poor and make a difference in the world around them. The stories can be anywhere from ones related to being broke, having no money, or even going hungry.
isn’t this sort of thing a story about business? Well business is about to beat the poverty and make people feel proud of who they are. As an organization, we have been working on various social initiatives to empower millions of people who live in poverty. We have implemented a number of programs to strengthen the roles and abilities of those living in negative environments such as the use of consumer electronics, poor nutrition, and access to electricity. What we have not done is to teach these people that they can overcome these challenges. We should not be fighting poverty; we should be encouraging them to achieve their goals by putting their energies into their work.
Stop being a slave to your job: business-level business is focused on helping people realize their full potential and achieve their goals by offering free tools, tools, and resources to make the most of your career. That’s why we have launched our latest Hitler Project at Social-Capital. Our goal is to change how work businesses think about poverty by opening their eyes to the complex issues of poverty in the United States. We envision businesses in America that are not just looking for profits, but actually thinking about what they’re doing with their money so they don’t end up paying poor people wages that aren’t there because they can’t find anyone who can afford it or might be at risk of becoming poor themselves.
