Business cards are what make or break an interview. They are not only the first thing people notice, but they also make a great resume. For that reason alone, I highly recommend that you use them! I can honestly say that my business cards are among the most used pieces of paper I own.
It is no secret that business cards are now the second most used item after the letterhead in the business world. I’m not sure why. I don’t know anyone who has a business card that is as recognizable as mine.
The big, bad “card factory” is not unlike a company that takes a cut every time you use a business card. It’s why so many businesses are now making their own cards. For those that don’t want a “real” business card, they can make a card that says “E.D.I.T.A.N.” (I’m Not Even Interesting) It’s actually a very cool idea and a very effective marketing tactic.
The great thing about the card factory is that you can get a very great card with the same amount of time it takes to create it and to have it for free.
I have to say, the card factory is the most annoying thing I’ve ever seen in my life. Their business card is just a giant, annoying, stupid, and totally pointless, and it doesn’t have any design and it doesn’t even have any useful information on it.
The card factory is pretty much like the “Get a Free Trial Day” in that you can buy a free trial card to see if you want to keep shopping and paying for it. The problem with that is that, once you buy it, you are stuck paying for it forever. I was able to make a card for $5 and sell it for free for 90 days, for a total of $3.99.
A good rule of thumb is that if you want to keep shopping and paying for a card that you are stuck with for the entire duration of the trial, a good rule of thumb is to keep it free of the trial. This is also a good rule of thumb for people who have paid for their own card. If you want to keep a card that you are stuck with for the entire period of the trial, buy it.
Basically what I’m saying is, if you can buy it, get it. If you can’t, get it. As long as you are willing to pay for it, you will be able to buy it.
At least if you are a Canadian, you can buy it. You can buy it from Canada Post. If you are a US resident, you can buy it from Amazon. That being said, Amazon does have a very limited selection in Canada.
The fact is that you don’t need to have a business card to get your name out there. The fact is if you really want to get your name out there, you need to have a business card. I think it is safe to say that the average person doesn’t have the time to spend thinking about a business card, even if it is to place an order.
