I know I’m supposed to be the first college to host a bgsu musical theater festival. But I’m not.
The College of Musical Arts at Boston University is an interdisciplinary liberal arts college that includes dance, music, theater, and visual arts programs. It’s a place that is designed for students who love to experience and create music—and of course, this is exactly the kind of students that we are. The music at bgsu is quite diverse. There are a few things that are more traditional.
And then there’s the new dance company B.S.F.
Yes, the B.S.F. are the new dance company out of Boston but they are not the traditional dance company. They are more like a hip house band kind of dance company. They include songs and choreography that are similar to dance and they are not necessarily dance music. Their dance is more of a contemporary style which is to dance with the modern dance form.
