Ballard Performing Arts is an educational summer camp for all ages in the Washington metropolitan area. The program is a program of the Washington Department of Education designed to provide a free, non-profit, camp for the purpose of increasing public appreciation of the arts. The camp offers six week-long summer camps that will enable participants to experience and develop the self-awareness gained from the arts in a hands-on, fun manner.
In addition to a self-awareness course, the camp offers a wide range of activities that will help participants gain a better understanding of the arts, and the importance of learning what’s important in life. For instance, the camp offers a “dance battle,” an in-camp competition for the best dance moves. The camp also has opportunities for students to learn more about the arts, and to see the art that is available through the festival’s art gallery and museum.
With its unique arts and crafts event, the camp offers participants a chance to learn more about the arts (and to do cool things like make handcrafted cards!), and to see the art that is available through the festivals art gallery and museum.
In addition to the arts and crafts festival, the camp also offers a chance to learn more about the arts, to see the art that is available through the festivals art gallery and museum, and to see a performance from a local artist.

The festival itself is a long and eventful affair. While there is a lot of arts and crafts to be seen, it also includes music, food, and dancing. For the latter part of the festival, campers can explore the grounds of the camp and visit the various artisans and designers, including The Ballard Arts and Crafts Festival.
The Ballard Arts and Crafts Festival is a long series of events that takes place throughout the day at Camp Blackreef. The first three days are all about art and crafts of one sort or another, with artists showing up almost every day. The second day is filled with music, and by the end of the third, campers have learned how to play instruments, learn to sew, and perform with live acts.
The Ballard Arts and Crafts Festival is like a scavenger hunt. Each artist provides a different art piece, which is then hung on the camp’s wall. The art is then picked up by campers, and they are given a chance to experiment with the pieces they’ve decided to take home and make a new one. There’s no prize, but the festival is about community, fun, and learning.
