I have always been a big fan of bak, meaning that I am in love with the combination of baking and art. I enjoy cooking but I think that a lot of that is a case of baking more than what I know, I enjoy art more than I really care to admit. In a way, I can’t relate to the art world enough to be interested in it, I’m much more of a visual learner than an artist.
I have never been a fan of art. I find it distracting and boring at times, and I have an aversion to the idea of a “creative person.” It is, however, a great tool for those who are artists, and it has been used to great effect by artists like Picasso, Matisse, and Andy Warhol.
The bak middle school of the arts is the art department of a high school in the eastern U.S. who has decided to experiment with art in a way that is more experimental but less traditional than the traditional art program. They want to challenge their students to think about art as something they could do outside the classroom. They want to make art a part of the school’s culture.
Sounds ambitious, so let me explain. The idea behind this program is that art is a “non-traditional” way to learn. This program, called “The bak middle school of the arts” is a new program to introduce students to a variety of art media and to encourage them to think about how art can be used outside the classroom.
BSMOA is a term coined by The National Center for Art, Design and Technology. The bak middle school of the arts is a new program where arts-based subjects are taught using traditional art media and a variety of media in a creative, non-academic environment. This curriculum was designed by Professor of Art at the University of Tennessee, David Zicklin.
At first glance, I thought the curriculum looked kind of silly, but that’s not entirely true. It’s really not much different from what we’ve been doing at school, which is teaching students how to draw, paint, or sculpt using traditional art methods. The students in bak middle school of the arts have been working in groups or in their own studios, making a variety of art media.
This is all a bit much, but I think it’s a good example of how the school system could be redesigned to be more democratic. At the very least, it would be nice if the art department and the school administration worked together, and not just hand-pick students to teach.
I’m a big fan of arts classes but I’m still not sure how I feel about them. Some of the classes really look fun, but I feel as though they could be more of a learning experience.
I think we could do with a more artsy classroom. I think art classes should not only focus on making art but on building a community around it. Art is a way for students to connect with each other and have fun. It’s not just about learning the techniques and the craft. It’s also about connecting with fellow students and the broader community.
