Since it is a very short term course I am not sure if I would like to attend an arts school in Virginia.
I hear that the University of West Virginia is great, but I would not really care to attend any arts school in the state of Virginia. Maybe in the future, but not in the present. In general I think that the arts are something that should be left to those who are interested in the arts. Arts schools in Virginia are more specialized, not general arts schools. I would not recommend this to anyone looking to make a career as a musician, dancer, painter, or sculptor.
A lot of people are surprised that a lot of the schools that I mentioned above are arts-focused, considering that they don’t take art history courses. It’s not that these schools don’t take art history courses, but that they focus on specific areas of art, and that the rest of the arts are secondary. The University of West Virginia is probably the best example of this because it has a strong art history program.
I agree with you. I think it is a great example because it focuses on the arts more than other schools, and that is an important distinction. I was lucky enough to attend GWV and I can say that my time there was invaluable as I got to do what I love: studying. I also can say that the art history classes were all valuable, because I had to do them while I was in college and not while I was at work.
I think you hit the nail on the head with West Virginia. And I agree with you that it is an interesting and important example. But there are other arts schools in the U.S. that offer art classes, so it is not just the arts schools that offer classes.
I agree with you that not all arts schools offer classes. But I also think it’s important not to assume that all arts schools offer classes just because they are in a state with a large arts population. I went to Virginia Tech and was told that the classes were available if you lived in one of the major cities in the state. This wasn’t true for most of the arts schools in the state.
Also, I know that the arts schools are in a state with a large arts population. But I still think it is important to not assume that all arts schools offer classes just because they are in a state with a large arts population.
Well, I think it is important to not assume that all arts schools offer classes just because they are in a state with a large arts population. But I think it is also important to note that not all arts schools are created equal. At least here at Tech we can have the arts professors of all kinds of backgrounds, some of whom graduated from the top schools (like the ones in the University of Virginia, the University of Texas, and the University of Chicago).
There is also a wealth of arts schools outside of the two mentioned. Here at Tech we are fortunate to have two art schools that are not on the arts faculty list: Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of New Hampshire. In my opinion, the Virginia College of Art and Design is one of the best arts schools in the nation, and the school has a great reputation for its art curriculum.
The Virginia College of Art and Design is a fine arts school that focuses on fine art, drawing, painting, design, sculpture, and other related fields. The school’s curriculum is focused on the liberal arts and the school’s student body consists of a variety of art majors and non-majors. It also has an excellent reputation for its art instruction.
