I am an animal lover and have been since I was a young puppy. I am not a dog person. I love my dogs, and I know that I will love my dogs. However, as a dog owner and owner of a dog person, I find that I am still learning about what I am, and what I want others to think of me, and what a dog is.

One of the things that makes us human is our desire to make people happy. However, this is not a good enough reason not to get a dog. We have to make them feel safe, loved and accepted. That’s the goal of a good dog. And this is why many shelters and rescue organizations are filled with dogs that have been abandoned, or abused or abandoned and abused, or even just abandoned.
The best way to get a dog you would like to have is to put it in a home where it will be loved and given lots of attention. But what if you love a dog but the home is not good enough? If you have a dog and you just cannot accept that, you might as well not have a dog at all. Many shelters will not accept dogs if they are not in the best of conditions.
Of course, that’s not the worst thing that can happen. A dog can die (for example, from a car accident). That can be a tragedy, but sometimes dogs get sick. When that happens, you may have to put your dog down. Or you may have to have another dog.
