Arts in the heart of Augusta is a local art gallery and event space for the Arts in the Heart of Augusta community in our community, and we are hosting the first in a series of events. This event will culminate in an art show at the gallery. Each artist will be judged on their skill and creativity at their art exhibit.
The first event will be held Saturday, October 14. If you’re in the neighborhood, come out and show us your art.
Arts in the Heart of Augusta is a local arts community project based on the Arts in the Heart of Augusta website. The first in a series of events, we invite you to come out and show us your art. There will be a gallery opening, and a drawing for a prize. The gallery is open from 9am-3pm.
The first Arts in the Heart of Augusta event is the first in an ongoing series of events that will offer local artists a chance to show off their work at an art show. The events will be held on Saturday from 9am-3pm at the Augusta Fine Arts Center, located at 1433 West Avenue, on the corner of the intersection of West Avenue and West Street.
The Augusta Fine Arts Center is one of several art centers in the area that offer a wide variety of exhibits and free classes. The gallery will be showing paintings, sculptures, photography, and more, along with a variety of events including a drawing for a prize.
The show is free and open to the public, so if you’re looking to take a break from the city’s streets you can do so by wandering down to the art center. It’s also open on the second Saturday of every month from 9am-3pm.
I’m not sure if arts in the heart of augusta is a good idea in a city like Augusta. The small art center is located on West Street and is currently only shown on weekends. The paintings, sculptures and photography are nothing to be trifled with. If the paintings and prints you see are not interesting, consider going to the gallery. Otherwise, you might as well leave the city.
Just like any other art center, Arts in the Heart of Augusta is currently showing a pretty broad range of art. In addition to painting, photography, and sculpture, it also shows a lot of glass and ceramics. I don’t think I have to say more than that.
I have to admit that I was surprised to find out that the center does in fact have a “gallery” (or at least a gallery that does not have a permanent collection on loan to the art center). If you happen to see it, please feel free to stop in and hang out. The art center is located in the middle of the town’s commercial strip, which is a nice change from the hustle and bustle of the central business district.
In the past, the arts center was known as the Coney Island Arts Center. It was a part of the city until the 1980s, and is now housed in an old building that was used for housing and storage of the city-owned library. The previous owner of the gallery was the city’s first mayor, who decided to sell the gallery to a private developer in order to make room for the city’s new library, which is now known as “Art and Books”.
