On August 12th, Pittsburgh was hit by its first arts festival of the season, Pittsburgh Arts Festival. The event was held at the Civic Arena and featured over 20 artists selling their wares to the public.
This event is a great opportunity for the art community to come together and celebrate the work of independent artists and to share the art of art.

I have been going there for a couple of years now and its always a blast. It is a small art, music, and food festival that has a lot of variety. The weekend they have, there is no shortage of art, music, and food. Its just a great event to attend.
The best part about the festival is that you don’t have to take out an entire town or community to be in the art and music section. You can go to the festival like any other art, music, and food festival. You don’t have to pay to enter the festival. You just walk around and enjoy the art, music, and food section. Its the perfect way to keep on top of all the events going on around you.
The festival is held in downtown Pittsburgh on the third weekend of the month. Its an invite only event, which makes me wonder if its possible to go in person. However, the art section of the festival is fairly open to everyone.
