This is the first time our new website has allowed for a section to be devoted to interior design. This isn’t so much that we cant decorate, but we cant create or design anything. We might be artists, we might be cooks, we might be decorators, but not enough of us are really capable of designing a room on our own.
So why does this matter? Because this is a problem with many websites. I know this may sound like a rant, but I find the concept that only the creators of a website should be allowed to create content and have the rights to do so offends me.
The way we present ourselves online and in real life is by how we present ourselves. It’s not just about whether you’re a photographer, a designer, a writer, or a musician, it’s about how you present yourself.
Yes, it is hard to be the only one in your field of work, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be the best version of yourself. Everyone has the power to put themselves out there and make their own style of style. My own interior design business is called “interior design photography.
