The arkansas museum of fine arts is my go-to place for art. I’ve visited many times. They are an institution for serious art lovers like I am, plus the design is amazing. I love the outdoor sculpture garden, and I love the sculptures, including the one in the exhibit in the gift shop. My favorite part is that they have a bookstore, which is not a place for everyone. But you can definitely browse there.

I’ve never noticed the art books and the art prints. The gift shop is a great place to check out, but it really has nothing to do with the art.
The gift shop is located upstairs in the Art Gallery on the third floor. It’s a small shop that can stock a wide variety of art books and art prints. Most of the books are $1.50 each and most of the art prints are $2.50 each.

Our favorite is a book by Chris O’Leary that had 20 pages of art on the front and back of it. I would consider myself a fairly serious art collector, so its nice to see a collection of work in a book that’s so high quality.
If you are looking for art, its a great place to go. But its also a great place for a relaxing day, which is something we find ourselves doing quite often.
