The problem that I see is that when you are painting you are doing it for a very specific type of audience. A lot of people are going to like the art, but not the person who is doing it. You don’t want to paint a picture of a cat. You want to paint something that you will understand, that is your own personal interpretation of the art. You want to paint something that you will really enjoy. I think the same way when it comes to fashion.

While a lot of people will probably like the clothes they buy, a lot of people will also just not care. They will look at the brand and say, “hey that is nice, but that does not really fit me. I think I need something with more impact.” I think this is a mistake.
