As much as business and I would like to continue to do business as usual, we are in a state of self-awareness. We are aware of how our actions and reactions affect others and ourselves. We are aware of how we can and should be acting in the next situation we’re about to encounter.
Our actions and reactions affect each other and can be a good thing. For example, a very good friend of mine often puts a lot of thought into the actions and reactions of other people. As a result, we all get on well.
I don’t want to add too much to your point, and I can’t stress that much enough. I am glad you didn’t lose your time. I’m glad you have all of these new ideas for your business, but I’m glad you’re able to do it right.
I agree that we should be acting in the next situation as soon as we encounter it. In fact, I think more of that in the epmd business. I dont think that our ability to act is the problem. If we had a hard time acting as a team, that would be the problem. A lot of our actions are just a reaction to other actions that we’ve seen.
I think it’s important we have a clear understanding of how we work as a team to prevent this from happening again. We’ve found that even in situations where the team is under a lot of pressure to perform, a lot of the time when the team is under pressure, they don’t feel as if they have the ability to truly act on what theyve seen in the situation. In short, I don’t think we’re under a lot of pressure.
I think this whole thing is a bunch of guys who have never been in school being taught to act as a team and work together in an efficient manner. I believe that what we have to do in order to be successful is to create a culture where each team member feels comfortable to say “I see it as my role to do whatever I can to keep my fellow team members alive.
I dont think we have to say anything because we are the only ones to have actually seen the situation, and we have a much better understanding of how this whole thing came to be. It just seems like we are more focused on the outcome of what we are doing, rather than what caused this to happen.
A team member has to do something to keep the company fun and safe. The team isn’t just looking for an excuse to go to the beach. They want to keep the company safe and friendly, and that’s why they are doing this.
But that may be changing. It may be that the more focused we are on our work, the less we get distracted. Maybe we need to get back to doing what we do best and see what happens.
