I’m one of the lucky ones. I saw our first festival this year and it was absolutely gorgeous. It didn’t have a huge line around the block however, which is always a good thing. The weather for this weekend was beautiful so I headed down there with my friend and hung out at sundown. It was a blast.
The lineup for the 2nd annual Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is as ever, a who’s who of indie music (or alternative music) with a few indie bands thrown in for good measure. For the first time in the festival’s history, one of the bands is actually in the lineup. The first and only time the festival held a special surprise was in 2013, when the first ever “Festival of the Dead” was on.
Coachella is the music festival that launched the EDM revolution in the mid-to-late ’00s. With hundreds of bands, countless stages, and a huge variety of music genres, it’s a great place to find new music as well as old-school fans. In the past two weeks the festival has released a few more information about the lineup, and the full list of musicians will be released later this week.
The event will be taking place this weekend at the famed Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
The festival will be taking place on April 14-16 on the South Stage at The Forum in Indio, California. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival took place in August 2015 and it’s the first “major” music festival in the country to hold such a large lineup.
I’ll be there in person and I’d like to say that at least one thing I’ll be doing in the next few months is getting into the music industry. I won’t be attending though, because I have a full-time job with a mortgage and a husband who has to work a lot.
I think the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is one of the best events of Spring in the US and the best in the world. My wife and I went to the inaugural festival last year and it was a great experience. I’d like to see them better and bigger up and get better acts.

I’m not sure if this is an indication that I’m not as big a fan of the festival the way I used to be (when I was an organizer and a part of the festival), but it’s still pretty entertaining to see what’s coming back in next year. I’m hoping that Id get to see more of them again.
I was planning to go to Coachella in 2010, but with a fulltime job and my husband working 40 hours a week, I found myself unable to attend. It was too much of a financial burden, and because I was still in school at the time, I didn’t have a job. I did, however, attend the Coachella Music and Arts Festival, which is on until Sunday night.
