This is one place you may want to put in your car if you ever find yourself in the city. It’s where you go to see your favorite artists. You simply have to walk through the door and the gallery is behind glass.
The palace of fine arts (POFA) is the most famous place for art in New York City. It is a place where the rich and famous pay homage to the artists who created them. You can spend a day or two here, but if you’re here for the art, it’s not worth the trip.
The gallery is open 8am – 7pm. You can park here for free, but it is not a designated parking area. You will have to get one of these parking passes.
In fact, you can also get a pass for $10. Its a good deal, especially if you only want to be here for a day or two. You just must be 18 to get the pass.
This time of year, when the Art World comes to town, the Art Institute of Chicago has an important exhibit opening. The Art Institute is only open for the day of the exhibit, but you can park for free at their nearby lot.
There are plenty of free parking lots around the Art Institute of Chicago. You just need to make sure you are at least 18 years old to park on the Art Institute’s lot. (Even if you are, you must still get a parking pass.
It’s a lot. The Art Institute actually has lots of free parking. You just need to make sure you make it to the Art Institute at least 18 years old. And you won’t do well if you have an invalid’s permit.
If you’re over 18, you have a pass that you need to get a parking pass from the Art Institute. But the passes are free (and many are free without a pass). The passes are for the day of the exhibit. (It is not open to the public.) There are plenty of free parking lots around the Art Institute.
That’s definitely a good question! I have no idea if people are allowed to park in the Art Institute. I think there are only a few designated spaces for people with disabilities and their friends from the local area. I’ve never taken a parking pass though.
I know I said I didn’t have any free parking around the Art Institute, but I have to take a look. If you ever see me wandering around the parking lots near the Art Institute, don’t hesitate to ask. I’ll try to find out more about the rules.
