I love what they’s doing at hexagon business cards, they’re already several months into their Kickstarter campaign and already have over $10,000 in pledged to their company. I was a huge fan of the company back in 2014 when they brought us the Sapphire and now everyone who owns a Sapphire or iPhone 7 is a net fan of their mysterious new business card game called Hexagon. If your in Iphone 6 or above, you can purchase Hexagon for $16 at their website.
As you may or may not know, there were two types of business cards in the late 80s and early 90s. The original ones were the ones made by IBM, but they weren’t exactly a good idea given that those businesses could be spotted by the color of their ink. The other type was made by Crayola, who went out of business ten years later. In recent years they’ve been making retro-style business cards inspired by their old products like the Dream Cards from Colgate toothpaste. They’re getting back to using heat-sensitive ink as a printing medium (see below for more info) instead of using colored ink.
