So, when you buy a cake to make a layered cake, you just do it like that and you get a cake. And you can get more cake as you buy it, as long as you have a bigger cake to start with.
This is exactly how I feel about all of the layered cake kits that are out there. And why should the cake makers care? They are just using the same recipe, so they can just use the cake stand and get a cake that looks exactly the same as the cake that someone else has done.
