This article is not a review. It is merely an attempt to bring to light a few of the things I think about whenever I think about fighting sticks martial arts.
I think the hardest part of the stick fighting arts is the training that goes into it. The idea of a martial artist training in a fight is so foreign to me. What does it take to become a martial artist? How does one become master? It doesn’t matter. They’re the same thing. It’s the training that makes them different. So the first step is to figure out what the training is.
The training is the actual training of the martial arts. It’s basically a system of “techniques,” “techniques,” and “techniques” that a person will use to fight.
