In the summer of 2014, STEVES INC. hosted the first-ever STEVES Institute of Business and Arts. This was a four-day summer camp designed to help students learn the ins and outs of business, technology, and the arts in an inspiring setting with some of the most accomplished business people and artists in the industry.
The Institute was created for entrepreneurs and young professionals to learn from the best and brightest minds in business, technology, and the arts, each day focusing on one of three aspects: business, technology, or the arts. The aim was to help students grow and develop their leadership, work-life balance, and entrepreneurial skills. During the first two days the students met with faculty and business professionals from some of the top companies and entrepreneurial companies in the world to share their experiences and insights.
And while we don’t know exactly what a “stevens institute of business and arts” is, we do know that it’s a little bit different from the usual. For starters, it’s not a school. Instead, it’s a place where students can learn from professors in an informal setting, without pressure to show up and get a degree.
This is a place where students can go to learn from people who are just like them. Because you can be a professor and still be a student. And you can go to a place that has no real curriculum, no set class schedules, no tests, and no deadlines. Instead, you go to classes with all the people you want to be like, but you do it in the same way.
This is one of our favorite places on earth, which is why it’s so great to work here. We love the atmosphere, the camaraderie, and the small but effective classes. We’ve been in every one of these classes, and our favorite is the course Management and Entrepreneurship for Dummies. It’s essentially a crash course in the science and business of management, entrepreneurship, and sales, with online quizzes and assignments.
I’ve been to the stevens institute of business and arts several times. Its a great place to learn all about business, entrepreneurship, and sales, especially when it comes to selling to others and building a business. Of course, we learn about all sorts of topics we’re interested in, like accounting and finance (or lack thereof!), marketing and customer service, and business plan writing.
Its a great space to learn how to build a business from the ground up and learn to be a sales professional from a customer’s perspective. One of the most interesting subjects is “How to Write a Business Plan”. There are a lot of interesting questions surrounding this, and the answers are not always so clear.
