I used to be afraid of this academy. I used to sit on my couch day-dreaming about what it would be like to be a chevy chase artist. The fact is that I’ve been really happy with how far I’ve gotten in my studies, my classmates, and my painting practice.
That’s part of the reason I recently did a workshop with chevy chase artists. It was a great experience. The teachers, the staff, and my fellow artists were all very open to the fact that I had a wide variety of backgrounds. They were happy to open up their worlds to me and my painting practice.
I’ve had many teachers, and I’ve had a few teachers who’ve been super supportive. But a few teachers have been my favorite. One of those teachers was a man named John. He was a teacher who wasn’t afraid to show his students just how creative you can be. He encouraged me to paint larger scale canvases with a lot of colors.
Not many teachers give you the freedom to paint what you want, but for John, it was a great way to push you to do what you wanted. He encouraged me to take on the challenge of painting large walls. My favorite part of chevys chase arts academy is the fact that it’s not simply another “happening” game. It is a game that requires thought, planning, and forethought, just like real life as well. You have to be willing to sacrifice your own life in order to help your friends and classmates. You don’t just need to blow up your rival’s car with a bomb or find a way to be the second person to break into a vault.
The game is a mix of survival horror and puzzle adventure. Each level requires a specific skill set in order to progress it and some areas, like the water, have some puzzles that will likely require you to solve some puzzles. The game also helps you learn the vocabulary of the particular language you are speaking. I like to call it a game about learning how to be a human being, not simply a game about having fun.
