The goal of the workshop is to create a new form of art that is in harmony with the natural world. The art form could be anything: an artistic depiction of a tree, a rock, or a human figure. I use this form of art as a medium to teach the students to observe nature while they create art. Students will have the opportunity to create a piece within a natural setting. The students must be of legal age and able to consent to participate in the art workshop.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, October 1st from 9:00am to 12:00pm at the Tokyo Mirage Gallery. The venue is located within the Tokyo Mirage, which is a high rise building overlooking the bay of Tokyo.
This is the second time I’ve been to Tokyo, so I was able to get a few impressions of the city from the ground up, and it was awesome. It’s one of those cities where everything is just so bright, and the sky is so blue, and the waves are so big. It’s a city that never stops changing, and I’m glad I’ve had the opportunity to experience it.
