I am a big fan of all things local and in the Bishop Arts District. Although the Bishop Arts District is not in the immediate area of my home, I am so grateful that it is nearby. I love to shop, visit galleries, and walk the streets of the neighborhood.
As a huge fan of local art and design, I’m always looking for inspiration, and recently I had a very interesting conversation with a friend about local design. I have to say this friend is a bit of a connoisseur of local art – and not just art that’s in the Bishop Arts District. In fact, he’s a big fan of everything in the Bishop Arts District.
I thought this was a joke. I thought I was being a bit rude when I asked my friend if he had ever been to an art gallery. He hadn’t, but hes a fan of it. Bishop Arts District is the name given to the Arts District in Seattle, Washington. The city’s largest art district, this is where Seattle’s best galleries and art stores are located, and where they’re likely to be one of the best places to get a first look at a new artist’s work. It’s also home to one of the coolest galleries I know, The Gallery of the Great Northern, which I’ve been telling my friends about for years.
As Ive mentioned before, the Seattle Arts District is one of my favorite places to visit in the whole world. The citys biggest and best art gallery is located in this district in the heart of the city. Ive already said before that I love Bishop Arts District, and I will say it again now. Its my favorite place to hang out, have a drink, and browse the art and culture on the planet. I hope it continues to be so.
As a frequent visitor to the gallery, I can safely say that Ive met the artist who created the work displayed there over and over again. The artist is a native of the area, and the pieces he creates are so good and so unique that they are truly an extension of his native culture. His pieces are often based on the culture of the country he lives in, and the pieces he creates are in many of the same styles as other artists in the area.
As someone who has come to the area many times over the years to visit with friends, I find it very hard to leave Bishop Arts without feeling a little sad. I get that it’s a great place to visit and many of the artists I’ve seen there have created some of the most beautiful artwork I’ve ever seen. However, I can’t help but feel sad when I leave.
I think a lot of the Bishop Arts artists are making a living by creating art, whether it is in a traditional manner or not. So I feel like Bishop Arts is a great place to visit to get a feel for who its artists are and to get a feel for the style of art going on in the area.
A lot of the artists that Ive met here, I have felt at home. The artists Ive met here are all making a living from their passion. I think as long as they are all making a living from their art, then I am going to be happy to spend some time here.
